Few artists are willing to blur the lines between science fiction and pop quite as fearlessly as Saachisen, and with her stunning new single ‘The Girl That Was Made Of Antimatter’, she delivers her most adventurous and captivating release to date.

The Mumbai-born, London-based artist dives headfirst into a universe of imagination, emotion and possibility, crafting a track that feels equally at home on an indie-pop playlist and the soundtrack to a futuristic blockbuster. Built around delicate piano flourishes, sweeping strings and shimmering electronic textures, the song unfolds like a cosmic fairytale, with Saachisen’s vocals shifting between intimate vulnerability and beautifully processed synthetic layers.

Created alongside longtime collaborator Dave Leondi, ‘The Girl That Was Made Of Antimatter’ also marks the first chapter of an upcoming science-fiction-themed EP, a project inspired by Saachisen’s background in electronic engineering and her passion for storytelling without limits.

Already boasting a residency at the legendary Roundhouse, performances across Europe, BBC Introducing support, and a Best Emerging Artist victory at the Eastern Eye ACTAs, Saachisen is rapidly establishing herself as one of the most exciting and original voices in alternative pop. If this single is any indication, her next era is set to be truly out of this world.
