beabadoobee has shared ‘Memories’, the latest preview of her forthcoming album 'Pylon', which arrives on the 18th September through Dirty Hit/Interscope Records.

Described by Bea as one of the record’s happiest songs, ‘Memories’ carries a more complicated emotional undercurrent than its brighter exterior initially suggests. The track finds her looking back at treasured moments and confronting the sadness that can emerge when nostalgia becomes a desire to remain permanently inside the past.

That bittersweet perspective offers another indication of the emotional range expected from 'Pylon'. Written partly during stretches alone in hotel rooms, the album sees beabadoobee returning to the solitary songwriting process of her teenage years while exploring love, loneliness, anger and exhilaration across a broader rock-oriented sound.
