Isaac Saenz explores heartbreak and emotional turmoil on new EP 'This Should Hurt More'

Texas-based alternative-pop artist Isaac Saenz has released his new four-track EP 'This Should Hurt More', combining emotionally driven songwriting with elements of pop-punk, alternative rock and contemporary pop production.
Produced and mixed by Vincent Ernst of Magnolia Park and Emerson Vernan, the project features four tracks: ‘LOST IT’, ‘Holly!’, ‘Hell’ and ‘SINS’.
Opening track ‘LOST IT’ explores lingering emotions following a breakup, while ‘Holly!’, featuring Joshua Rock, delivers an energetic pop-punk sound built around prominent guitar arrangements and infectious melodies.
Elsewhere, ‘Hell’ incorporates trap-inspired percussion and rhythmic experimentation, while ‘SINS’ introduces heavier, metal-influenced guitars.
Discussing the EP, Saenz explains that the songs emerged from reflecting on difficult personal experiences and emotions that remained long after the events themselves.
Several tracks have been in development for years, including ‘Holly!’, which was originally written during his college years before being revisited for the project.
