Beck drops new single 'Disappearing Act'

Beck continues to build anticipation for his forthcoming album 'Ride Lonesome' with ‘Disappearing Act’, a gorgeous new single that reconnects the songwriter with some of the musicians behind his most celebrated work.

Produced by Beck and mixed by longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich, ‘Disappearing Act’ unfolds through softly cascading acoustic guitar, sweeping orchestral flourishes and weightless vocal harmonies. There is a wonderfully unhurried quality to the track, with Beck allowing its melodies to gradually bloom rather than forcing them towards an obvious climax.

It arrives as the third preview of 'Ride Lonesome', following ‘In The Night’ and the record’s title track. The album will become Beck’s first collection of entirely new material since 'Hyperspace'.
