Having spent the best part of the last decade building and cultivating a distinctive direction for herself, former Portishead singer Beth Gibbons has now announced her plans for her first debut solo album 'Live Outgrown', which is set to be released on the 17th May via Domino.
The new full-length is being previewed by the new lead single 'Floating On A Moment', which comes accompanied by a stunning new video, directed by Tony Oursler.
Speaking about the new visuals, director Oursler said, "When I first heard “Floating On A Moment” it literally transported me from place to place, filling me with kaleidoscopic emotions and visions. If possible, I wanted to capture that psychic liquid in this video. Beth's work is so powerful it can lead us through life's forests and fires, revealing glimpses of possible futures. With a voice and music like that I knew we had to make images which are open, somehow speculative."
