Dublin singer-songwriter Lex Bucha enters his darkest and most confrontational chapter yet with new single ‘Faithless (Sacrifice)’, as the first taste of a forthcoming EP.
Produced by Liam Geddes, the track marks a noticeable shift from the introspection of his debut EP 'Painless Mode'. Where that project examined anxiety and difficult family relationships, ‘Faithless (Sacrifice)’ turns its anger outwards, finding him ready to sever ties with the people and institutions whose expectations once shaped his life.
It makes for a striking evolution from an artist whose atmospheric indie-pop has already attracted support from BBC Introducing, RTÉ Pulse, Today FM and SPIN.
Alongside his solo work, Lex Bucha has written for artists across Europe, including EMMY, Silver Omen and Mila Nikic. With a new EP approaching, ‘Faithless (Sacrifice)’ finds him stepping into that next phase sounding bolder, darker and considerably less interested in living by somebody else's rules.
