King Princess is back, and she’s not pulling any punches. The Brooklyn-born artist just dropped 'RIP KP', the ferocious lead single from her upcoming third album 'Girl Violence', out on the 12th September via section1. Premiered with a bold performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and paired with a devilishly queer video directed by Warren Fu, 'RIP KP' marks a raw, liberated rebirth for Mikaela Straus.

Co-produced with Jake Portrait and Aire Atlantica, 'Girl Violence' captures a creative resurgence after stepping away from the industry machine. 'RIP KP' is unhinged, sexy, and soaked in swagger, an ego-death anthem where desire runs riot and old selves burn.

“This record is dramatic, unfiltered, and queer as hell,” Straus says. “It’s the album I wish I had at 15.”
