After their much-loved comeback singles ‘Imaginary’ and ‘Songs In My Head’ in recent months, HONNE have now announced their plans for their fifth studio album 'OUCH', which is set to be released on the 6th September via Smile More Recording / AWAL Recordings.
The new full-length is being previewed by the lead single 'Girl In The Orchestra', which comes accompanied by a stunning new video, animated by Jenny Jokela.
Speaking about the new offering, the band's Andy Clutterbuck said, “When I was younger, I joined my school orchestra cause a girl I liked played the flute. I didn't even read music at the time so was quite out of my depth. School crushes were always a little hard to navigate and could end up being quite painful. 'Girl In The Orchestra' tells this story”.
While the video's creator Jokela added, “'Girl in the Orchestra’ is a hand painted animation, using acrylic paint on paper. I feel the painted technique and look matches and adds texture to the warm and funny tone of the love story that is central to the video."
