What was the first band or artist you fell in love with? It all felt like something unreal, I would say it felt like fate. I was around 9-10 years old when I had just moved to this new place, and I remember like it’s yesterday, going to my friend's house and having his uncle call me and tell me “check this out.” I sat there and he gave me his laptop it was a Toshiba laptop and he played this Video By Lil Wayne Drop The world the song featured Eminem, at that was It till this day, Lil Wayne was the first Artists I ever fell in love with, his art creativity it's crazy and out of this world. Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
I had a group when I was around 14, we named it war music. This was when I started making music in studios, rapping usually mixing Rap in English and Portuguese. The group didn't last that long but to be honest many of the things I’m aware of today, I learned through that time. Those are good moments that I’m sure I will never forget. What has been your primary inspiration in writing music? It’s like painting canvas for me, I like to put it that way. First, the idea just flows to my mind, sometimes It depends, cause I can have a thought or a feeling for a very long time and if it's bothering me, I just write it down with the thought that imma go back to it one day. But I also have this book my brother gave me, I just paint it all there. But in reality, I feel like the inspirations all artists have come from what they have lived through the years, you know all the feelings and thoughts you get throughout life, all that brings the inspiration.
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be? The time I started, the hunger I had, It’s something that not only I would love to relive, but I’m trying to feel that way again, I’ve been looking for that hunger and that's one of the motives that makes me keep going, with all dedication, with my heart and soul. So I would say, I would love to relive the moment when this all started.
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with? Many of them, I would love to share a stage with all the artists that inspired me to do music. From Lil Wayne, J Cole, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Joyner, NGA, Emicida, Ghali, you know the list is long. It’s just a lot, but for now, I wanna make sure, I’m able to ensure that I share stages with my homies, even though it feels like opportunities most of the time get to come my way, I wanna be able to share that opportunity with them. And I hope that one that can understand why. And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well? The list Is also very long, I would say the artists are the same as the ones I have mentioned before, it’s the same artists I would like to share a stage with. Where do you see yourself in five years time? This is a very powerful question, and I like it. The way I would say that is that I wanna be able to still make music and continue to have the same hunger and love for it. You know, just making sure I’m able to stay focused and learn more about life. Making sure nothing drives me in the wrong direction, nothing destroys me or transforms me into a person I’m not. I want to be able to be open for change and be able to respect others principles and I hope that can be reciprocal. This is just a very powerful question and I would say I don’t think there is a perfect way to answer such a powerful question like this because every single day we are growing and learning.
