What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?

Probably 50 Cent. Around that Mid 2000’s era I also really loved Akon & Take That.

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

Not so much a band but me and some friends from my estate had a little group where we would all rap together. A complicated mix of grime, hip-hop and dancehall, LOOOL we did not sound good at all, great times though.

What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?

To be honest, just journaling my life. I’m an emotional person and writing is a natural way for me to process what I’m experiencing/have experienced.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

Wizkid Essence.

If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?

I performed in Liverpool a while back. It was an intimate show and the vibe in the room was special, probably that.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

Skepta. I’ve seen him live a few times and his energy is incredible, other-worldly almost.

And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?

Rick Rubin, I heard he creates a space that gets the best out of artists. Also, Pharell.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

An album or two into my journey. Selling out mid-sized venues all over the globe, being more creative and impactful. Also serving people with some other product or service, I think that’s important.
