Foo Fighters have kicked off a major new chapter with the release of 'Today’s Song', marking the first new music from the band since 2023’s acclaimed 'But Here We Are'. The new single arrives as Foo Fighters celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1995 self-titled debut album, symbolising both a reflection on their journey and a bright, forward-looking statement.

'Today’s Song' delivers everything fans have come to love from the Foos: a subtly melodic intro that erupts into soaring crescendos, layered with themes of perseverance, personal growth, and hope in the face of life’s unpredictability. At just over three minutes, it stands as a concise yet powerful anthem in classic Foo Fighters fashion.

In a heartfelt note to fans, Dave Grohl reflected on the band’s shared experiences. He expressed gratitude to past members William Goldsmith, Franz Stahl, and Josh Freese, and paid a moving tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins: “Your name is spoken every day, sometimes with tears, sometimes with a smile… Foo Fighters will forever include Taylor Hawkins in every note that we play.”
