County Kildare singer-songwriter Sarah Casey continues an impressive breakthrough year with the arrival of her debut EP, arriving alongside new single ‘Point of View’.

The release follows the success of her debut track ‘Blind Eye’, which earned widespread support across Irish radio, secured Track of the Week recognition from Spin Southwest, and prompted praise from BBC Northern Ireland, who highlighted Casey as an emerging artist to watch.

Still only sixteen, Casey writes with a level of insight and emotional intelligence that belies her age. While ‘Blind Eye’ explored themes of compassion and addiction through an outward-looking lens, ‘Point of View’ turns that focus inward. The song examines the pressure of feeling constantly observed, before arriving at a liberating realisation: most people are far more concerned with their own lives than judging those around them.

The new EP expands on these themes, weaving together personal experiences with observations of the people and situations that surround her. Through thoughtful lyricism and mature storytelling, Casey explores empathy, self-awareness, and the different ways people navigate the world.

Produced by John Leader Productions, the project introduces a songwriter already displaying remarkable confidence and clarity in her craft. With ‘Point of View’, Sarah Casey delivers another compelling step forward and further establishes herself as one of Ireland’s most promising young voices.
