Electronic artist In Silo has released DEATH MOON II, a new five-track EP that signals a significant step forward for the project following the earlier release of 'Higher'.
Entirely self-produced, the collection sees Chris Gillett draw on synth-pop, indie electronic and new wave influences while continuing to develop a sound that feels distinctly his own. Across tracks including 'Wanted More', 'Higher', 'Here In The Now (Or Never)', 'The Long Goodbye' and 'Vienna, I Become', the EP blends nostalgic electronic textures with polished modern production.
Originally created during a period of creative uncertainty, the songs began as an exercise in rediscovering the enjoyment of making music without expectations. As the project evolved, it took on a more personal meaning, exploring themes of self-reflection, personal growth and leaving old versions of yourself behind.
