‘Lonely Revolution’ brings Tom McQ’s busking roots into the studio

Tom McQ has unveiled his new full-length release, 'Lonely Revolution', that takes the direct songwriting style of his street performances and builds it into a broader studio sound.
The London artist remains rooted in acoustic guitar and narrative songwriting, but 'Lonely Revolution' adds orchestral strings, keyboards, electric guitars and a full rhythm section to the mix.
McQ has become a familiar presence within the capital’s grassroots scene through busking residencies and regular live appearances, including performances around Covent Garden and Camden.
His profile increased significantly after an impromptu Underground performance went viral, introducing his music to millions of viewers online.
Previous single “In Between Stations” also reached No. 2 on the global Hypeddit Singer/Songwriter chart.
