What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?

Very tough question, I don’t know if I could name just one as I fell in love with many bands and artists throughout the early years of my life.

But to name a few, in no particular order I’d say…. A tribe called quest, Al B. Sure, Fugees, Jay Z, Mary J Blige, Sade, Bone thugz n harmony, Rage against the machine, Roy Ayers, Erykah Badu, Nas, Kanye, Alter bridge, Metallica, Twista, Master P, Jill Scott, The Roots, Keith Sweat, Donell Jones, Fozzy, Box Car Racer, Pre-Things, Allele, HELLYEAH, Evanescence, Madonna, Citizen cope, Nonpoint.

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

Although I didn't form a band per se, during my younger years, I actively participated in various musical endeavours. While in grade school, I was a member of the choir, where I honed my vocal skills. Additionally, my friends and I would frequently showcase our talents in poetry slams, engage in impromptu rap sessions, and sing during recess and lunch breaks. While our musical pursuits were diverse and eclectic, ranging from melodic harmonies to rhythmic improvisations, they reflected the vibrant energy and creativity of our youthful expressions.

What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?

When it comes to writing music, my primary inspiration stems from a combination of two key factors. Getting out my ideas and documenting my human experiences accurately, unveiling all pieces of the universe only I can cover.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

I don’t have a song I wish I had written. Art, music and I have a very special relationship at this point. I don’t like to force things or let regret overshadow my creativity. Everything I could say was said and anything I may have missed will be covered (along with relevant information) before I’m done.

If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?

As a progressive individual, I place great importance on embracing the present and looking forward to the future. While it is necessary to acknowledge certain elements of the past, when moving ahead, I can’t look back on it as I found it to be counterproductive. I don't have a desire to relive any specific moment in my career or my life. I'm too focused on living now.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

Share a stage…… hummm someone hit my boy A$AP Rocky and or Playboi Carti up and tell ‘em I’m trying to work ASAP. Kendrick, Sza, Travis, Joey, Peggy, Cole & Anderson PAAK them too!!!!!

And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?

As far as collabs, everyone mentions above + Tame Impala, Benny the Butcher, Schoolboy Q, Nas, Jay z, Lil baby, Nonpoint, Ab Soul Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat (No particular order).

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

In five years…. I see skyscraper/skybox views overseeing the fruits of my labour. I see highly accredited pieces, I see less stress, I see beautiful places, beautiful people, I see more opportunities, I see change, I see growth, I see love, I see stars!
