GET TO KNOW: Lizzie

Following up the release of her stunning single 'Make You Feel Better' late last year, which was supported by countless tastemakers, emerging artist Lizzie is now looking to continue her vibrant ascent as she drops the sweeping new single 'Dark Clouds'.

Lifted from her forthcoming new EP 'Silver Lining', which is set to arrive soon, 'Dark Clouds' makes for a wonderfully engaging return to form. With her own powerful and shimmering voice riding a bouncing bed of alt-pop production, she is certainly set for big things in the year ahead.

So with the new single available now, we sat down with her to find out more about her origins and influences over the years.

What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?

Demi Lovato as I loved how she sang and how her songs had deep meanings in the lyrics. Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

I haven't ever formed a band even when I was younger, but I have played with bands. But if I had made one I'd look for members who enjoy what they do and learn the pieces before rehearsal.

What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?

I write because i enjoy writing and creating.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

I wish I had written the song called 'Met Him Last Night' by Demi Lovato ft. Ariana Grande as i really love the harmonies and the meaning in the words for this song. If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?

Writing my first song from my EP.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

I would love to share a stage with Demi Lovato. And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?

I'd love to collaborate with artists such as Ariana Grande, Olivia Rodrigo, Blackpink, BTS and so many more.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Touring, performing more in bigger venues such as Glastonbury.
