So with the new single available now, we sat down with her to find out more about her background and influences over the years.
What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?
I mean the first band I fell in love with? N’Sync … lol.
Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
Yes! I was part of an 80s duo, super synthwave, but not the direction I wanted to go at the time.
What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?
Writing has always been more of a need more than a want. I just had to from a young age and can’t stop…
Now I’m more intentional with the mission of each project and the message I want to say, like Magic is about manifesting, where my next project … we’ll you’ll see.
What is a song you wish you had written yourself?
Omg so many honestly. Can’t pick one cause it’s the artist’s art…
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?
Opening for Zion I. RIP Zumbi </3
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?
Tyler lol (the creator).
And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?
J Cole 100.
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
I see myself with a beach house doing my yoga + health stuff in the am, studio in the day, family things at night + being on tour… definitely want to open a studio for young artists too and stay traveling.
