After recently returning with his stunning comeback single 'When She's Dancing' earlier this year, emerging artist Keith Aaron is back on the grind once again with his passionate new effort 'Lovestruck'.
Capturing more of that rich and immersive R&B aesthetic he is known for, 'Lovestruck' makes for a rousing return to form throughout. With his broad and emotive presence spread across a glossy production from start to finish, he is continuing to shine across this mesmerising new offering.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and influences over the years.

What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?
The first band I can remember falling in love with was probably Blue. I can still remember listening to their self-titled debut album with my mum while we cleaned the house when I was about 6 years old. It was something about their silky voices, harmonies and production that kept me going back to the same cd.
Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
I was never in a band but I was in a duet with a friend from high school. We used to sing acoustic alternative pop and folk songs. We would do kind of our own spin on songs that we both liked, adding different harmonies and stuff. It was a very "Ed Sheerany" time in pop music so we drew a lot of inspiration from him.
What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?
Honestly, I get inspired by my personal experiences. I think that I write my most honest music when it comes from a real place. Whether it's heartbreak, motivation, anger or pure joy I really try my best to dig deep and get everything out into the mic.
What is a song you wish you had written yourself?
There are so many answers to this. I'm gonna name a few. Self Control by Frank Ocean, Lemonade by Jeremy Passion and probably Rock With You by Michael Jackson. These songs all have a hold on me and I genuinely think that when I discovered each song that I replayed them for a few weeks. I think I played Self Control over 200 times in the first few weeks that Blonde came out.
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?
This one time my friend told me to send my music to his friend because he was doing a dj set on a local radio station in New Zealand. I remember sending him my songs and patiently waiting for him to play it at my flat. That's a moment I want to relive not because it was a huge moment or anything but the feeling I shared with my flatmates when we were hyped up listening to my music on the radio was just so cool.
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?
To be completely honest, Frank Ocean. I think knowing that he doesn't do shows very often, it would make it more special. Also imagine singing Godspeed on stage with him, like come on.
And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?
I would love to collaborate with RINI. I've been a fan of his for a few years now and knowing that he is from Melbourne and I live here now, it could happen. Plus, I've been manifesting it for a few years now so I believe it will happen sooner or later.
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
5 years from now, I see myself being a touring musician. I also see myself doing sessions with bigger artists and collaborating with as many people as I can. I see myself hungrier and more passionate about music and art than I am now. I just want to do as much as I can and as best as I can.
