What was the first instrument you learned to play?

The first instrument I learned was piano, from there I got into singing and writing music.

What was the first album you remember owning?

The first album I ever owned was probably Linkin Park, Hybrid theory it was one of the first albums I ever memorized.

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

I was in a few actually, one was a pop punk band my sophomore year, then I was in a band that had a more jazz/ funk fusion sound with some high school friends. we played a few shows locally.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

I wish I would’ve have written “Is This Love” by Bob Marley it’s one of my favorite songs. It’s straight to the point but also so simple.

What has been the most thrilling moment about creating your own music?

Probably anytime I’m in the the studio and I finally find

what’s missing in the song. Weather it’s a hook or a missing lyric. I also love when I’m working with multiple people and we have this “Ah ha” moment that inspires us to finish the song.

And what about the most frustrating part?

Probably not being able to find the missing piece to a song. The process is always different, sometimes it easy to find and other times not so much. I also find myself comparing myself to other artists sometimes. Which can be frustrating, but I have to remember I’m on my own time and own artistic journey.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

It would have to be either Allen Stone or Lucky Daye, two of my favorite artists as well as influences!

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

I see myself touring with some of my closest friends. Maybe find a record deal and doing music full time.
