After making his mark as a songwriter for the likes of Rihanna, James Arthur, Seeb and many more over the years, progressive producer 11 LIT3S is now pursuing his own solo venture as he drops the enticing new single 'Candles & Clarity'.
Lifted from his forthcoming new release 'Genesis Collection', which is set to arrive in the near future, 'Candles & Clarity' makes for a wonderfully vivid listen. With its powerful R&B tones blended effortlessly with heartfelt vocals, he is showing exactly why so many major artists have worked with him before.

What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?
The first two artists that drew me into music was Michael Jackson and Pink Floyd
Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
I never had a band but I got into music production because of some close friends that were making grime back in school. They’d write and record and I just fell into making beats and recording them. From there I started exploring other sounds and broke away into other genres.
What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?
My inspiration comes from various places. I normally find it either in listening to different genres and seeing how I can bring some of those together to create something new, something different that evokes some sort of excitement…or sometimes just simply watching a movie that looks amazing aesthetically or has some emotional trigger, can drive me to go work on music.
If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?
When i was producing, i was moving from studio to studio in spaces with people like Dre, Kendrick, NoID, Snoh Alegra, James Fauntleroy, Rihanna, to name a few, basically just some of my favourite artists. I’d like to relive that just with a different aspiration, not to produce for them but to work alongside them and create some timeless music.
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?
Kendrick Lamar or The Weeknd.
And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?
Tame Impala, Kavinsky, Grimes, those are the first that come to mind.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In the studio working on my fifth album with some of my favourite artists featured, working on music I love.
