Dave Hero - 'Erotic City'

Following the acclaimed release of his album 'Days Awake', Dublin-born artist Dave Hero unveils the video for 'Erotic City', a track rooted in the neon-drenched haze of his years in New York. Directed by Nishaant Bhinder, the video draws on Blade Runner aesthetics to match the song’s themes of longing, solitude, and late-night energy.

Hero’s gravel-edged voice and cinematic storytelling shine as he captures the seductive pull of city life. With decades spent in iconic Irish bands like The Vipers and The Fat Lady Sings, Hero’s journey from sideman to spotlight continues to gain momentum.

Speaking on the release, Hero says: “It seems like I’ve had to wait a long time for the inspiration and the ability to write, play and release my own songs. Now that it’s happening, it’s such a thrill to make the songs available and to work with directors who bring them to life in cinematic ways. It’s been worth the wait.”
