Sunny Rae Keller has unveiled a new track exploring the reciprocal relationship between parents, children and caregivers.
Written during an artist residency in France, 'Carry You On' grew from discussions with her mother about the women who helped shape their family. The song considers care not simply as looking after another person, but as something that influences identity and personal growth on both sides of a relationship.
Its arrangement remains deliberately sparse, combining acoustic guitar with subtle rhythmic elements and a warm vocal performance.
The single will appear on her forthcoming first album 'Pocket', continuing a body of work influenced by folk, cinema and personal storytelling.
