Dull Fantastique - ‘Skeleton’
Dull Fantastique introduces his surreal, self-created mythology with ‘Mindmap of a Madman’, an ambitious 35-track debut spanning psychedelic folk, ambient experimentation and dreamlike alternative songwriting. Led by the intimate and atmospheric ‘Skeleton’, the album transforms his extraterrestrial persona into an immersive creative universe where strange fiction, emotional vulnerability and adventurous musicianship continually intersect.
Lily Madison - ‘This Is It’
Kent-based teen artist Lily Madison embraces the melancholic warmth of 90s alternative rock on ‘This Is It’, a tender new single about finding the courage to take an emotional risk without knowing where it might lead. Drawing inspiration from The Sundays, The Cranberries and Fleetwood Mac, the track pairs melodic guitar work with candid songwriting to capture the vulnerability and exhilaration of finally choosing uncertainty over fear.
Sunny Rae Keller - ‘Carry You On’
Emerging Californian songwriter Sunny Rae Keller previews her debut album ‘Pocket’ with ‘Carry You On’, an intimate folk single tracing the enduring bonds between mothers, daughters and the generations that came before them. Written during an artist residency in France and inspired by her own family’s experiences with caregiving and Alzheimer’s, the track turns a deeply personal story into a moving reflection on how we shape, support and ultimately carry one another through life.
Dead Horse - ‘I Would Die’
London post-punk trio Dead Horse reveal a more vulnerable dimension to their abrasive sound with ‘I Would Die’, an intense love song where devotion gradually blurs into obsession. Arriving ahead of debut album ‘Caught The Nonsense’ on 11th September, the single trades much of the band’s trademark surrealism for raw sincerity, driving its simple declaration of love through distorted guitars, repetition and mounting emotional tension.
Seasurfer - ‘Flurry Glory’
Hamburg trio Seasurfer expand their distinctive “dream-punk” sound on ‘The Noise Is Ours’, a four-track EP where vast shoegaze distortion collides with haunting vocals and darker post-punk textures. Featuring the dreamlike lead single ‘Flurry Glory’, the release explores transience, loss and love while opening a renewed chapter for the band as they return to the live stage.
