Renowned indie innovator Alex G returns with news of his tenth studio album 'Headlights', due out on the 18th July via RCA Records. Alongside the announcement, he’s unveiled its first single 'Afterlife', accompanied by a surreal Charlotte Rutherford-directed video.

A decade and a half into his career, 'Headlights' finds Alex G diving deeper into the blurred boundaries between Americana, dream logic, and emotional rawness. Citing influences like Neil Young and Elliott Smith, the Philadelphia native continues to evolve his signature sound, crafting songs that feel both personal and otherworldly.

'Afterlife' offers a haunting first glimpse into the record’s layered world, steeped in melancholy and subtle surrealism.

Described as his most mythic and emotionally resonant work to date, 'Headlights' cements Alex G as one of this generation’s most distinctive and influential voices in alternative music.
