The Ruffles - 'Baby Blue Bronco'

Florida sisterly outfit The Ruffles transform a favourite family memory into an energetic new single with ‘Baby Blue Bronco’.

Made up of teenage sisters Kenzington, Charlotte and Paris, the Delray Beach group wrote the track about the baby-blue Ford Bronco they shared as their first car. The freedom, adventures and inevitable chaos surrounding those early journeys became the foundation for a bright pop-rock song centred on growing up together.

‘Baby Blue Bronco’ was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, with The Ruffles working inside the historic Studio Three. Vintage 1960s microphones, analogue equipment and carefully positioned room mics were used to capture the studio's natural acoustics, while multiple live takes helped preserve the trio's youthful energy.

With further original releases planned approximately every six weeks, ‘Baby Blue Bronco’ feels like an appropriately personal starting point: three sisters turning the experiences of growing up together into their own musical story.
