After spending the last year since the release of their breakthrough 2020 debut album 'Night Of Joy' developing their direction, LA-based duo Songs For Sabotage now make their eagerly-awaited return with a cover of Chromatics classic offering 'Shadow'.
Tipped as a precursor to their highly-anticipated sophomore LP, which is set to be announced soon, their rendition of 'Shadow' sees them venture into a far more synth-based territory. With its warm and textured aesthetic, matched with some fantastically elegant vocals, they are set to enter 2023 in style with this one.
While their efforts to date have cemented them as one of the more exciting names on the rise today, 'Shadow' shows that they have plenty of broad and inventive ideas left to explore. Pushing their sound further than ever before, we can't wait to hear what this new album has in store for us as well.
