After rebranding themselves as SOFT PLAY late last year, the punk duo have now announced their plans for their new studio album 'HEAVY JELLY', which is set to be released on the 19th July via BMG.
The new full-length marks their first collection under their new name, and is being previewed by the lead single 'Act Violently', which comes accompanied by a new Thomas Davis-directed video.
Speaking about the new offering, the band's Laurie Vincent said, “The whole walk back to the studio, we were discussing our contempt for e-scooter drivers. They should be illegal. They shouldn’t be on the road. They should need a theory test. It was just a rich well to discuss, and the song’s about that.”
