Following a whirlwind year of touring and the critical acclaim of her debut album 'Something Bigger', rising Irish songwriter Sarah Keane returns with her latest single 'Katy', a tender yet spirited ode to friendship, chaos, and late-night conversations that hold everything together.

Inspired by a real phone call with her friend Katy during a particularly overwhelming evening, Keane transforms an everyday moment into something quietly profound. “It was one of those days where everything was falling apart,” she says. “I rang Katy and just vented for what felt like hours. She listened, she grounded me — and somehow that turned into this song. Everyone needs someone like her.”

With production by Dave Skelton, 'Katy' blends Keane’s confessional songwriting with warm, subtly chaotic arrangements that mirror the emotional unraveling at the heart of the track. It’s a characteristically sharp and vulnerable offering from the Mayo-born artist, who has become known for infusing life’s small moments with humour, heartbreak, and humanity.
