Rusty Reid - 'Oh, What a World'
Seattle singer-songwriter Rusty Reid has released his interpretation of Kacey Musgraves' 'Oh, What a World', the latest single taken from his double album 'Lone Stardust (Masterworks of Texas Songwriters)'.
Originally released by Musgraves in 2018 and co-written with Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, the song serves as the closing track on his collection celebrating the work of Texas songwriters.
Drawing on his folk, country and rock influences, he takes a more grounded approach to the original's atmospheric production, introducing expressive guitar arrangements and prominent vocals.
The recording also features Jason Roller on electric guitar, Chris Condon on acoustic guitar, Dane Bryant on keyboards, Jay Gorman on bass and Robert Blair on drums.
