Rachel Chinouriri has announced her eagerly awaited second album 'I think i spoke too soon, arriving on the 16th October via Parlophone / Atlas Artists, alongside the release of its shimmering lead single 'One song away from crying'.
Blending glossy synth-pop with heartfelt lyricism, the new track explores the fragile moment when an ordinary night out gives way to something far more personal. Anchored by an irresistible groove, Chinouriri reflects on self-worth, vulnerability and the quiet emotional battles that can unfold beneath the surface, while an accompanying dreamlike video, directed by Dora Paphides, brings those themes vividly to life.
Written and recorded between London, Hereford and Los Angeles, the forthcoming album marks the next chapter following her acclaimed debut, expanding her distinctive alternative pop sound with the help of both returning collaborators and new creative partners, including Lucy Dacus and Eli Teplin.
