Boundary-pushing electronic duo Purity Ring return with their latest single 'imanocean', a luminous, rock-infused reverie that blends 90s alt textures with the sweeping beauty of anime soundtracks. Now streaming on all platforms, the track offers a fresh glimpse into their upcoming self-titled album, out on the 26th September.

On 'imanocean', live drums, shimmering guitars, and celestial choirs meet MJ’s surreal storytelling. “This song is a sweet current of fog drifting over the ocean,” MJ shares. “A wave away from all the things we’ve made, yet still thoroughly us.”

'imanocean' follows recent collaborations with Pabllo Vittar and Maffalda, as well as the double single 'many lives / part ii', marking a bold, conceptual chapter for Purity Ring. Their fourth LP will soundtrack an imagined RPG, weaving fantasy and grief into a tender story of transformation.
