Minnegasco join forces with The Shins' James Mercer on haunting 'Livin In France'

Minnegasco make a captivating introduction with their new single 'Livin In France', featuring acclaimed musician James Mercer of The Shins and Broken Bells.

Formed in 2026 by Jon Forrest Little and Dru Astark, the project blends atmospheric indie songwriting with haunting melodies and understated electronic textures.

Recorded at Mercer's Portland studio, 'Livin In France' unfolds through delicate synth motifs, warm keyboards and mesmerising vocal performances. Mercer's unmistakable voice brings additional depth to a track that favours mood and atmosphere over conventional indie-rock bombast.

With this new release, Minnegasco introduce an intriguing new collaboration, combining established indie credentials with a wonderfully cinematic creative vision.
