Kendow - 'Lionesses Of England'

Kendow has shared a new track centred on his admiration for the England women’s football team.

“Lionesses Of England” is an upbeat pop release that aims to capture the commitment, team spirit and growing cultural presence of the women’s game.

The song combines electronic drums with keyboards, guitar and vocals, keeping the arrangement accessible and focused on its celebratory subject.

Kendow says the track was inspired by the passion shown by the players themselves, with his interest in the sport providing the starting point for the song.

The Slough-based artist writes and records music alongside his day-to-day employment, describing songwriting as both a creative ambition and a way to step away from everyday pressures.

A second football-inspired single, “England Women Come Together”, is also currently planned for release in the near future.
