What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?

Thirty Seconds to Mars, where do I even begin? I remembered hearing them on the radio and asked my brother “Wow! What is this?” Alternative rock definitely shapes the music that I create today.

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

While still in high school I formed a rock band called the Longest Night which was fairly popular on the local rock music scene. I played guitar and sang. We even had a couple of songs that played on local radio and we did a small tour in LA.

What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?

I draw inspiration from life experiences and relationships.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

Kiss from a Rose by Seal.

If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?

When I purchased my first guitar it opened up so many musical opportunities for me.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

Drake.

And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?

Rihanna.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

Doing the same musical things that I do now on a larger scale.
