Having already built a strong and confident array of releases throughout the last few years, emerging artist julianne is back once again to kick off her 2023 with the warm and illustrious new single 'path i choose'.

Capturing more of that sweet and passionate alt-pop direction she has been building for herself, 'path i choose' makes for a powerful passionate listen. With her bold and soaring voice riding across a driven production throughout, she is certainly one to keep a firm eye on for the future.

So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with her to find out more about her origins and influences over the years.

What was the first band or artist you fell in love with?

Celine Dion. My mom always played her in the car, during the holidays, I fell in love with the way she sang with such power yet was so tender in soft moments.

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?

I was never in a band growing up, but I was always singing. In plays and musicals, in a cappella groups, and performing at the talent shows. But never a band no. The karaoke machine and me, that was my band.

What has been your primary inspiration in writing music?

The journey of falling in love with me and sharing that process. That is why I write music, my passion is to help everyone i meet see the divinity inside of themselves, to realize the power we harness inside each of us that is our most valuable ally. I am human, I’ve struggled.. And through the lessons i’ve learned, I write to share knowledge and light, helping you heal with what you are battling at this point in your journey. Or to rejoice together in something we all have experienced or long for. We are all connected and music is a beautiful thread that weaves us all into one blanket of love.

What is a song you wish you had written yourself?

Easy Loving You by SG Lewis .

If there was any moment in your career you could relive, what would it be?

None, I wouldn’t trade the NOW for any other moment. I am so thankful for everything i have experience, for it has brought me here, and staying focused on here, makes here the greatest place to be.

Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?

Chris Lake

And is there an artist you would love to collaborate with as well?

Lane 8 and Ben Bohmer. And I absolutely will one day .

Where do you see yourself in five years time?

In five years, I see myself creating healing music, selling out millions of tickets to my wellness music festivals around the world that create a sacred community unlike the world has seen. I will be multi-faceted- teaching yoga and meditation, performing Reiki Energy Healing, creating music, performing at high frequency events, holding space for others to heal while i continue to connect with other humans doing the work.
