As we patiently await the release of her long-awaited debut album 'Collapsed In Sunbeams', which arrives on the 29th January via Transgressive, Arlo Parks has now unveiled her latest single 'Hope'.
Following up the previously shared gems 'Caroline', 'Green Eyes', 'Hurt', 'Black Dog' and 'Eugene' in previewing the new LP, 'Hope' makes for a wonderfully warm and inviting release, with a stunning new video directed by Molly Burdett.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “The song surrounds isolation, being present in your pain and knowing that you’re not the only one on the planet feeling low. I think especially in times like these it’s important to focus on the inevitability that things will get better.”
While adding about the video, “This video to me is a warm, vibrant exploration of friendship and introversion. I think there’s something so powerful about the saturated, filmic textures, the human portraits and depictions of euphoria.”
