ALLEY the band find their fiercest form yet on 'The Gift'

ALLEY the band return with another exhilarating burst of rock ’n’ roll on ‘The Gift’, a dynamic new single that combines infectious melodies, psychedelic flourishes and an unmistakable sense of attitude.

Following June's ‘Fantasize Romanticize’, the band embrace a more adventurous approach, moving between driving verses, spacious choruses and explosive guitar passages before building towards a euphoric finale filled with soaring vocal harmonies.

The track also carries considerable personal significance for frontwoman Ali, having originated from the very first lyrics she ever wrote. Initially developed alongside guitarist Robbie, the song was temporarily shelved before the pair revisited it nearly a year later with renewed creative confidence.

Lyrically, ‘The Gift’ takes aim at dishonesty, inflated egos and empty promises, finding humour in the absurdity of people desperately maintaining a false image.

With another single planned for autumn, ‘The Gift’ finds the group embracing their growing ambitions with infectious enthusiasm.
