Electronic-rock collective 2ŁØT have shared a new single titled 'I Hurt Myself Again', offering another preview of their upcoming album RE/SOLVE.

The track takes a notably restrained approach, unfolding gradually through repetitive instrumentation, layered textures, and understated emotional tension. Rather than building toward a dramatic climax, the song focuses on uncertainty and reflection, exploring how perspective can shift over time.

The foundations of the track began during sessions at Matt Sorum’s Palm Springs studio in 2025, where bassist Robert Trusko developed the song from a minimal looping progression. That simplicity remains central throughout the final arrangement, even as additional production and orchestral elements expand the sound.

Guest collaborators Cameron McCloud and Elise Trouw both contribute vocals, helping shape the song’s conversational and introspective tone. Meanwhile, Kyle Gordon’s string arrangements with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra introduce a cinematic atmosphere without overpowering the intimacy of the composition.

'I Hurt Myself Again' also highlights the evolving direction of RE/SOLVE. Compared to the more chaotic energy explored on previous album Entropy, the new material appears more reflective and emotionally measured.

As 2ŁØT continue defining their hybrid approach to electronic and live instrumentation, the latest single presents one of the band’s most subtle and carefully constructed releases to date.
