Over these last few years, Baltimore-based singer-songwriter Will Sims has established himself as one of the more prolific names rising through the ranks right now. Spending much of the last few years crafting this fresh and explorative approach to the pop-rock sound across a heady mix of releases, he has been moving from strength to strength with everything he does recently. And after another compelling run of offerings under his belt lately, he now returns with his hotly-tipped new EP 'Hello', a collection that continues that effervescent streak of his.
Featuring the previously shared efforts 'Axiom', 'If These Walls Could Talk' and 'Lovesick', this new six-track outing marks one of his more ambitious projects to date. Harnessing more of that emotive songwriting and lyrical prowess he is known for, 'Hello' looks to cement itself as a bold and impactful listen from start to finish. Whether he's pushing the limits of his aesthetic or adopting a more sombre tone, Will Sims makes light work of this progressive EP as often as possible.
While these last few years have been some of his busiest to date, 'Hello' still manages to offer something new and interesting to add to his ever-expanding catalogue. Moving with this subtle elegance throughout, he remains one of the more evocative names on the rise right now.
