Translucent Veil - 'The Veil'

North Carolina outfit Translucent Veil introduce their self-titled album with ‘The Veil’, a sprawling psych-rock track steeped in the adventurous spirit of classic rock's golden era.

Serving as the album's opening song and primary focus track, ‘The Veil’ captures the band's fascination with the expansive songwriting and organic musicianship associated with Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Beatles.

The band originally emerged from an informal Sunday afternoon jam before developing into a full creative project comprising veterans of the North Carolina music scene. Their debut was recorded and mixed at Sonark Media in Hillsborough, with San Francisco singer-songwriter and producer Chris von Sneidern contributing vocals to several tracks.

With the album now released and regional live dates planned for later this year, ‘The Veil’ provides a fitting gateway into Translucent Veil's psychedelic world.
