After a two-year wait and a sold-out KOKO residency, Thundercat is back with a double release that reminds us exactly why he’s one of modern music’s most exciting forces. 'I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time' and 'Children of the Baked Potato' (featuring Remi Wolf) arrive ahead of a major international tour, including a six-date UK run capped off by a show at O2 Brixton Academy.

'I Wish I Didn’t Waste Your Time' is quintessential Thundercat: woozy basslines, featherlight falsetto, and late-night introspection. In contrast, 'Children of the Baked Potato' dials things up with urgent energy and an electrifying guest turn from Remi Wolf. Named after LA’s legendary jazz club, it’s a love letter to the strange, brilliant spaces that shaped both artists. Produced with Greg Kurstin, both tracks showcase Thundercat at his surreal, soulful best.
