Following on from a flurry of bold and explosive offerings these last few months, including their recent belters 'Once' and 'Oxygen Type', Guildford-based outfit The Lunar Keys are back to their vibrant best once again on the groove-filled new release 'Maniac'.
Opting for a smooth and more driven alt-rock direction this time around, 'Maniac' still manages to pack itself with raw and euphoric textures. With its bold and sweeping flow, measured against some brilliantly enticing vocals, they are continuing their ascent in shimmering form throughout this new effort.
Although these last few months have certainly been a confident and prolific spell for the group, 'Maniac' still finds new and interesting ideas in which to explore. Brimming with a fresh confidence over their songwriting and production, they are capping off their 2022 in style here.
