The Cribs return after five years with 'Selling A Vibe', out on the 9th January 9th, 2026. Lead single 'Summer Seizures' debuted on BBC 6 Music and sets the tone for a record rooted in reconnection; between bandmates, brothers, and the emotional core of their music.

Written quickly after a summer spent rekindling their familial bond, the album marks a shift from the release-tour grind to something more personal. Produced by Patrick Wimberly (Solange, MGMT), the record leans into melodic pop with fresh perspective.

The 'Summer Seizures' video, shot on 16mm by Andy Knowles, captures the band naturally with no gimmicks. Guitarist Ryan Jarman calls it “a song about love, tragedy, and learning to live with yourself.”

'Selling A Vibe' isn’t about nostalgia, but rediscovery. As bassist Gary Jarman puts it, “We want these songs to be for everyone. That’s our most ambitious goal yet.”
