Following on from a flurry of rich and dynamic releases these last few years, including their much-loved offering 'Oh Anna!' at the end of last year, Luxembourg-based duo The Cookie Jar Complot return for 2023 to unveil their blistering new single 'Beaver Deceiver'.
Channelling more of that broad and eccentric math-rock-inspired direction they have cultivated for themselves since they first emerged, 'Beaver Deceiver' makes for a brilliantly bold and varied listen. With its explosive and kinetic energy matched perfectly with some wonderfully killer riffs throughout, these two are quickly establishing themselves as one of the more distinctive outfits on the rise today.
While they have certainly made an impact thanks to a run of compelling cuts these last few years, 'Beaver Deceiver' shows that they still have plenty of adventurous spirit running through their sound. With such a broad and captivating approach to their songwriting, we can't wait to hear what they come back with next.
