Stereolab continue to build anticipation for their upcoming album 'Instant Holograms On Metal Film' with the release of a new single 'Melodie Is A Wound'. As with their previous single’s playful wordsearch and fill-in-the-blanks activities, this release comes paired with a Stereolab-themed cryptic crossword compiled by Alan Connor—crossword editor for The Guardian and The Observer, and author of 188 Words For Rain.

'Melodie Is A Wound' is a swirling, hypnotic slice of motorik-tinged experimentation, balancing melodic charm with the band’s signature avant-pop edge. It’s the second glimpse of 'Instant Holograms On Metal Film', their first full-length studio album in fifteen years, out on the 23rd May via Duophonic UHF Disks and Warp Records.
