Shadow Flowers - 'Paraselene'

Shadow Flowers are beginning the campaign for their debut album with “Paraselene”, a new single that has already picked up early radio support from BBC Introducing.

The Southampton-based project centres on songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Mills, working alongside Ash Babb and Patrick White. Their latest track moves between dense guitar textures and more suspended, melodic passages, drawing on shoegaze and alternative rock without staying within one fixed style.

The title refers to the illusion of a second moon appearing beside the real one, an image Mills connects with memory and bereavement.

The forthcoming album Blood Book expands the group’s sound further, bringing in influences from gothic rock, orchestral pop and cinematic production.
