After cementing herself with a bold and frenzied array of hyperpop-inspired gems these last few years, including her highly-praised offering 'Planet Pleasure' in recent months, New York-based artist moistbreezy returns once again to deliver her explosive new single 'Once In A Lifetime'.
Lifted from her yet-to-be-announced debut album, 'Once In A Lifetime' continues her pursuit of bold and technicolour pop flavours throughout. With its bright and shimmering production layered against her own impactful vocal style, this new one will have you up and out of your seat in no time.
Speaking about the new track, she said, “Imagine creating an elaborate fantasy with a fictional person in your head for months only to actually meet them in real life, but you get so caught up in the moment you don’t get their number and lose touch with them forever, that is what ‘Once In A Lifetime’ is about. This idea sets up the plot for my upcoming concept album. Stylistically, I wanted this track to capture the energy of late 00s house and pop music that pulled heavy influence from 80s synth pop.”
While the buzz behind her has been growing extensively these last few months, 'Once In A Lifetime' still showcases some brilliantly inventive tropes. With such a strong and confident approach to her sound, we can't wait to hear what this new LP has in store for us as well.
