San Francisco-based artist Michellar continues her prolific return to music with 'Do We Love Us', a single that blends emotional honesty with an uplifting, infectious energy.

Exploring the complexities of connection, the track centres on where vulnerability meets the need for self-protection. What begins as a slower, guitar-led idea evolves into a more dynamic, rhythm-driven production, giving the song a sense of movement that mirrors its emotional push and pull.

Produced and mastered by Marius Alexandru in Romania, the track highlights Michellar’s ability to pair introspective themes with a lighter, more accessible sound, offering listeners both depth and escape.

The release also marks another step in her remarkable creative resurgence. After beginning her songwriting journey at 15 and stepping away for decades, she has returned with renewed focus following her acceptance into the de Young Museum Open Call Exhibition in 2023, a turning point that has since seen her release over twenty singles in less than a year.
