Michellar - 'Can’t Get You Out of My Mind'

San Francisco artist Michellar ventures into richly textured psychedelic rock with 'Can't Get You Out of My Mind', a new single that blends vintage influences with deeply personal songwriting. Serving as the first taste of a full-length psychedelic album due in 2027, the track marks an ambitious new direction for the singer-songwriter.

Inspired by the timeless sounds of artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Doors, the single surrounds her introspective lyrics with hazy guitars, immersive production and dreamlike atmospheres. Written as an outlet for obsessive thoughts and unspoken emotions, the song embraces vulnerability while creating an intoxicating sense of escapism.

The release was developed through a transcontinental collaboration with Nashville producer Michael Beckheart, who worked closely with Michellar to shape its expansive palette. After recording vocals and demos in San Francisco, the pair refined and completed the track in Nashville, carefully reworking the arrangement until they achieved the psychedelic character they had envisioned.

With this new offering, Michellar lays the foundation for a larger creative project, introducing a sound that draws confidently from classic rock while expressing a distinctly personal artistic identity.
