After spending the last few months building and developing her sound, Australian newcomer Melita has now introduced herself to the world with her shimming debut single 'Hearticulate'.
While inspired by the smooth and spacey sound of acts like Steely Dan, she also looks to harness the rich and sultry vibes of Kali Uchis on this broad and glittering new release. Jam-packed with sweet and sweeping textures, soaring hooks, and her own captivating voice shining throughout, it feels like we are going to be hearing a lot more from her in the months ahead.
Things may have only just began for the Sydney native, but it is already crystal clear that Melita is a name worth keeping an eye on. She has this wonderfully infectious quality to her sound that keeps us coming back again and again.
